Community Prayer Meetings: We meet every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center for our weekly gatherings of Prayer and Praise. These meetings are open to everyone, so please invite others to attend. Remember that information about MSJC and the California Mission Magazine is also available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG
NOTE ON MEETINGS: July 25th will be our last Prayer Meeting before our August Community vacation time off. The weekly MSJC Prayer Meetings will resume on Sept. 12th, the weekend after Labor Day.
MSJC Fall Teaching: Starting the week of Sept. 12th, MSJC will begin a 12-week Bible Study on the Gospel of Mark. This study will meet during the week at homes of people who have volunteer to host a study group. All materials will be provided by MSJC and the study is open to all so invite neighbors, co-workers, friends, family, etc. If you are interested in being a host, please contact John Martinez or Gary Herbst, who are the contact people for this study.
Men's Breakfast: This month's Men's Breakfast is at 7:30am on July 17th (Third Saturday), at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. Invite other men and join us! For more information, call John at (510) 785-3311 or Gary at (408) 227-7141.
Women's Fellowship Breakfast: Our next meeting will be July 24th from 9am to 11am at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. Bring a friend! For any questions or comments, please call Elizabeth Martinez.
Women's Luncheon w/Fr. Gerard: The Women of MSJC will have a luncheon on Friday, July 30th at the Omega Restaurant from 11:00am to 1:30pm. Fr. Gerard will be in town and will give a talk entitled "Entering God's Rest" during the luncheon. Please plan on attending and inviting other women.
Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

MSJC Annual Picnic: The Community will be sponsoring a summer picnic on Aug. 28th starting at 10am to have some fun time to celebrate with each other. This will be held at Emma Prusch Farms (647 South King Rd.) in San Jose which is near the Hwys 680, 280 and 101 interchange. Signup sheets to bring your favorite side dish will be available after the Prayer Meetings on Sundays. Please RSVP by July 25th to either John or Elizabeth or Ross or Amy.
MSJC Community Meetings: We will have our next community meeting on July 31st at 7pm. More information to be given during the month of July at Prayer Meetings. Reserve Sept 11th at 7pm on your calendar for the next scheduled Community meeting.
MSJC Council Meeting: The next MSJC Council meeting is scheduled for July 21st at the Martinez' home. Please call for information about time and agenda if interested in attending.
Prayers/Prayer Line Info: Prayer line participants are reminded to pick up a weekly prayer sheet from the white binder on Sundays. Prayer requests can be written in the white binder or you can call or e-mail Judy Bateman and she will distribute to others on the prayer line.
Volunteers are Needed: Individuals are needed as volunteers for different MSJC Ministries. If you are interested in being the Prayer Line Coordinator, please speak to Judy Bateman or Dan Franke. If you would like to volunteer in another way, talk to one of the MSJC Council members.
Upcoming Dates to Calendar: The Community Retreat is scheduled from Oct. 15th thru Oct. 17th. More information to follow in the coming months on this event.
Donations: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. Tax-deductible contributions can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley.
