Community Prayer Meetings: We meet every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center for our weekly gatherings of Prayer and Praise. These meetings are open to everyone, so please invite others to attend. Remember that information about MSJC and the California Mission Magazine is also available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG
May Meetings: Continue teachings on God the Father with the next talk entitled "Doing the Father's Will: Love of God and Neighbor". On Pentecost Sunday, May 23rd, during our normal meeting time, we will have a Prayer Meeting and then a Potluck Dinner. The celebration is to show our appreciation and to wish Fr. Gerard well in his new assignment in Littleton, Colorado.
There is no Community Prayer Meeting scheduled on May 30th. We encourage everyone to attend the Northern California Catholic Charismatic Conference (NCCCC) which will be held in Santa Clara at the Convention Center from Friday, May 28th thru Sunday, May 30th. Schedules with all the workshops/activities and children ministry programs are available on the back table after the Prayer Meetings. Remember, if you cannot attend the workshops, all the evening activities (Praise Concert, Charismatic & Healing Masses) are open and free. Also, if you are interested in helping with the conference by volunteering some time, please sign up on the back table.
Photo and Memory Book: Mary Herbst is putting together a photo and memory book which the Community will present to Fr. Gerard on May 23rd at the Potluck celebration. Please bring in photos of you, your family, community events, etc. which you would want place in the photo book for Fr. Gerard. You can also write a note or letter or decorate a page with whatever you would like, as long as it fits in the 8 X 10 vertical album pages. Please ensure that your photos, notes, letters, etc. are in by May 15th.
Men's Breakfast: This month's Men's Breakfast is at 7:30am on May 15th (Third Saturday), at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. Invite other men and join us! For more information, call John at (510) 785-3311 or Gary at (408) 227-7141.
Women's Fellowship Breakfast: Our next meeting will be May 22nd from 9am to 11am at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. Judy Bateman will be the morning's speaker on "The Virgin Mary - Christian Woman Role Model". Bring a friend! For any questions or comments, please call Elizabeth Martinez.
Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

MSJC Community Meetings: On May 8th from 7:00 to 10 pm we will have our next community meeting in the Community Room in Newpark Mall. Agenda items include continued discussion on the Covenant Agreement. What does each of the Covenant Agreements of our Community mean to you? Come give your viewpoint and/or come to hear other viewpoints. Our next Community Meeting is scheduled for Jun. 5th so please mark your calendars to join us.
Prayers/Prayer Line Info: Prayer line participants are reminded to pick up a weekly prayer sheet from the white binder on Sundays. Prayer requests can be written in the white binder or you can call or e-mail Judy Bateman and she will distribute to others on the prayer line.
Donations: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. Tax-deductible contributions can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley.
