Community Prayer Meetings: We meet every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center for our weekly gatherings of Prayer and Praise and a Teaching Series (Details Below). These meetings are open to everyone, so please invite others to attend. Remember that information about MSJC and the California Mission Magazine is also available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG
Life In The Spirit Teaching Series: We continue with our Life in the Spirit teaching series through the month of November. Each weeks teaching will be presented during the Sunday Prayer Meeting time with a new talk each week followed by small group discussions. The upcoming talks are as follows:
Nov. 1 - Receiving the New Life
Nov. 8 - Praying Over for Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Nov. 15 - Growth and Nov. 22 - Transformation in Christ.
A Thank You from the East Coast: We received a thank you card to the Community from John & Claire Grabowski. They appreciated the hospitality and generosity of our community. They said they were blessed by meeting us and would keep us in their prayers. Let's remember to pray for them and the Mother of God Community. (John and Claire were the guest speakers at the Community Retreat).
MSJC Community Meeting: Our next Community Meeting will be Saturday, Nov. 21st, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Kingsley's home. If you have an issue you would like to discuss, please contact Dan as soon as possible, so he can place it on the agenda. The following items are already on the agenda. Please pray and think about them before the meeting:
Children's Ministry Mandatory Meeting: There will be a MSJC Children's Ministry Meeting for parents and volunteers on Sunday, Nov. 29th at 4:20 p.m. at the Warm Springs Community Center. This is a mandatory meeting for parents who have children in the School Age or Toddler rooms. Besides being a time for your input and questions, we will also be going over several agenda items about this ministry. Any questions, please call Susan Kingsley. If you cannot attend this meeting, please speak to or call Susan Kingsley.
Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

Men's Breakfast: This month's Men's Breakfast is at 7:30am on Nov.. 21st (Third Saturday), at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. Invite other men and join us! Directions to the restaurant follow: 680 to Calaveras, go east, right on South Park Victoria and Omega's is on the left hand side, 90 South Park Victoria, Milpitas (408) 946-8748. Women's Fellowship: We will not be having a meeting for November due to the Thanksgiving weekend, but make your plans to join us on Saturday, Dec. 5th from 9am to 11am at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. This will be a Breakfast and Cookie Exchange meeting with the Theme: Jesus is the Reason for the Season. A round table discussion on how to keep Advent and Christmas Christ centered will be held, so come and share your insights! Bring a friend! Flyers are available on Sundays with more specific info about the cookie exchange. We will also calendar for 1999! Lord's Day Celebration and Advent Party: MSJC will be having a Lord's Day Celebration and Advent Party on Saturday, Dec 12th, from 4 to 8pm at the Tanglewood Clubhouse (Eric and Judy's complex). This will be a Potluck dinner with the Lord's Day celebration and some time to share and fellowship with others from the community. Sign-ups for food, drinks, dessert, setup and cleanup will be taken at the end of the prayer meetings during November. Maps with directions will be made available at a later date in November.

Donations: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt
status with both the Federal and State governments. Tax-deductible contributions can be given
to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone.
