Mission San Jose Community
Bulletin for November 2002
Community Prayer Meetings: Our weekly prayer and praise meetings are every Sunday from 4 to 5:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center. As always, these prayer meetings are open to anyone who would like to join us in praising GOD and learning more about MSJC. Check us out on the web at http://www.msjc.org
Sandwich Night: There is no pizza night this month, we are going to have sandwich night instead. On November 24, MSJC will provide the sandwiches after the regular Sunday prayer meeting and requests that you sign-up to bring other needed items such as salads and sodas. Sign-up by November 17th or call Judy Bateman at (408) 978-7796.
Community Meeting: The next Community meeting is Saturday, January 18th at 6:30 pm at location to be announced.
Children's Program: We will have our annual children's program on Sunday, December 15th after an abbreviated prayer meeting. This year, however, the program is on Our Lady of Guadalupe in honor of Juan Diego's sainthood and the fact that the anniversary of Our Lady of Guadalupe is December 12th. There will be free pizza afterwards. Please invite family and friends. This will be the last prayer meeting of the year. Linda Kline is the children's director this year and is in need of some props. The list of props are as follows:
Trees and rocks (maybe painted on posterboard or something like that), large chair for Bishop, long scarves (2), rays of the sun for behind Our Lady, and a spotlight.
