Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers

(ages 6 mos to 4 years) and School Age Children (5 yrs to 12 yrs). The toddlers will be in the Parish Nursery Room, while the School Age Children will be next door to them in the Conference Room. For info on this ministry, please pick up a Parent info sheet and Conduct Guidelines in the Children Ministry rooms. If you have any questions or comments, please call Susan Kingsley . We use the Catholic Kids Net program for School Age children. MSJC has both parent volunteers and baby sitters for the Toddler Ministry - parents sign up as toddler assistants to help out baby sitters when needed. The School Age Ministry has parent volunteers. All Children Ministry volunteers must be fingerprinted by December 31st due to a requirement of the Diocese of San Jose. Please contact Colleen Murphy at Holy Family to set up an appointment to do that.

Share Groups: We encourage everyone who regularly attends the prayer meetings to be in a Men's or Women's Share Group in which time is spent discussing current MSJC teachings, Bible Studies and your personal spiritual faith journey, as well as intercessory prayers. Everything discussed during the meeting is confidential and is not to be shared with anyone - not even your spouse. Share groups are for those who make the commitment to attend the meetings from now until July 2004 and are not for those who can only drop in every once in a while. Share groups meet twice a month; the Women's Group is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday and the Men's Group is every 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Please contact Mary Herbst for San Jose Women's Share Group and Eric Bateman for San Jose Men's Share Group. The meeting day is flexible but has to be okay for everyone in the group. If there is enough interest, more share groups can be formed as 6-7 people is usually the maximum number for a single group. The groups usually meet from 8:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. at someone's home.

Mark your calendars: Our covenant signing ceremony will be after the Sunday, Nov. 9th prayer meeting. Our next MSJC community meeting, which is open to all people, will be on Saturday, Nov. 15th at the Bateman's house.

Prayers/Prayer Line Info: Anne Hashimoto is our volunteer for the Prayer Line Ministry. Please send her your prayer request by email at ahashimo@juno.com . To be part of the email Prayer Line, please tell her or send her your email address and she will add you to our Prayer Line email list.

MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Monday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. The current council members are John Colon, Dan Franke and Gary Herbst. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.
