Community Prayer Meetings: Our weekly prayer and praise meetings are every Sunday from 4 to 5:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center. As always, these prayer meetings are open to anyone who would like to join us in praising GOD and learning more about MSJC. Check us out on the web at http://www.msjc.org
Pizza Nites: There is no pizza night this month due to the community retreat and also the covenant signing pot luck in early November. The next pizza night is scheduled for Sunday, November 24th. MSJC provides the pizza after the regular Sunday prayer meeting and requests that you sign-up to bring other needed items such as salads and sodas. Sign-up by November 17th or call Judy Bateman.
Community Meeting: The next Community meeting is Saturday, October 12th at 6:30 pm at the Batemans new house. Please see Eric or Judy Bateman for directions.
Annual Fall Retreat: The annual fall MSJC retreat is Friday, October 25th - Sunday, October 27th at the St. Francis Retreat Center in San Juan Bautista. Fr. Gerard Beigel and Holly Ciccarelli will be our speakers. The theme is healing. $75 non-refundable deposit is required for registration. There are 3 spots open so please contact Chris Kingsley by Sunday, October 13th. The cost will be $130 to $170 depending on accommodations. Day commuters fee is $40 which includes 3 meals, please pay Chris Kingsley if you want to come for the day. For further information, contact Judy Bateman. No prayer meeting on that Sunday due to the retreat.
Covenant Signing: The annual signing of the MSJC covenant will be on Sunday, November 3rd at the prayer meeting. There will be a potluck dinner afterwards; signups will be on October 20th and 27th. More details to follow. If you are interested in covenanting, please contact one of the MSJC council members ( Gary Herbst, Dan Franke, or John Colon ) and they can tell you the steps you need to take for making the covenant.

Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children. We use the Catholic Kids Net program for School Age children.
Baptism Mass: There will be a baptism mass at Holy Family Church in San Jose on Sunday, November 10th at 9:30 AM with a gathering afterwards to celebrate the baptism of our newest community member, Baby Herbst. All are welcome to attend - more details to follow.
Christmas Program: The annual Christmas program will be Sunday, December 15th after the prayer meeting. This will be the last prayer meeting for the year.
MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Monday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.
Prayers/Prayer Line Info: Cathy Norman has volunteered for the Prayer Line ministry. Please send her your prayer request by email . Thank you Cathy for continuing this great ministry!!
Supporting MSJC: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. You can help support MSJC with your tax-deductible contributions which can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley for review of the finances for MSJC.
