Community Prayer Meetings: We meet every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center for our weekly gatherings of Prayer and Praise. These meetings are open to everyone, so please invite others to attend. Remember that information about MSJC and the California Mission Magazine is also available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG
Fall Teaching Series: The Growing in Faith teaching series continues with the following talks: Oct 8th - Fall of Man, Oct 22nd - Forming a People, Nov 5th - Ten Commandments and more topics to follow in the coming months.
Pizza Nites: The next MSJC Pizza Nite is scheduled for Sunday, Oct 22nd. MSJC provides the pizza after the regular Sunday prayer meeting and requests that you sign-up to bring other needed items such as paper goods and sodas. Sign-up by Oct 15th or call Judy Bateman.
MSJC Retreat: The MSJC Retreat will be held from October 27-29th and will be at the Vallambrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park. Please reserve your spot for the Retreat by giving your deposit to Chris Kingsley by the signup deadline which is Oct. 15th. Cost for the weekend is $330.00 per couple or $180.00 per single room. If you are interested in attending during the day, the cost is $35.00 for one day attendance which includes lunch.
Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

MSJC Covenant Signing: The MSJC covenant signing and potluck dinner will be held on Nov 12th during the normal Prayer Meeting time. There will be no children's ministry provided that evening. A signup listing for bringing food will follow in the coming weeks.
MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Wednesday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.
Prayers/Prayer Line Info: If you have a prayer request that you would like to get on the Prayer Line, you may contact Sylvia Lobo.
Year-End Donations: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. Tax-deductible contributions can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley.
