Community Prayer Meetings: Our weekly prayer and praise meetings are every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center. As always, these prayer meetings are open to anyone who would like to join us in praising GOD and learning more about MSJC. MSJC Teachings: MSJC will start a fall teaching series with the first talk on Conversion to be held on Sunday, Sept 16th and Sunday, Sept 30th. Other teaching topics will be given in the months of October and November. More details on dates and subjects of talks to come later.

Community Meeting: Reserve Saturday, Sept. 29th from 6:30 - 9:30pm for the next MSJC Community Meeting. On the agenda will be the discussion/decision for name changes for the Community and The California Mission Magazine. The meeting will be held at the Bateman's home in San Jose. If you will be attending, please RSVP by calling the Batemans by Monday, Sept 24th. No children please.

Pizza Nights: The next MSJC Pizza Night is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 30th. MSJC provides the pizza after the regular Sunday prayer meeting and requests that you sign-up to bring other needed items such as sodas (reg and diet), juice drinks for children, ice bottled water and dessert. Sign-up by Sept. 16th at the prayer meeting or by calling Judy Bateman.

Fall Retreat: Plan ahead for the annual MSJC Fall Retreat to be held November 2nd - 4th at Presentation Center in Los Gatos Foothills. The cost is $140.00 per person for double occupancy. Single rooms may possibly be available, depending on the number of people attending. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per person is required when signing up. Day commuter fee is $25.00 which includes lunch and add $11.00 if staying for dinner. Day commuters must pay in full. All interested must signup no later than Sept. 30th and make your checks out to MSJC.

Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

California Mission Magazine: The monthly meeting to discuss issues/concerns in regards to the California Mission Magazine will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15th from 9am - Noon at Sylvia Lobo's home. One item for discussion at this meeting will be setting the day/time for this monthly meeting. Please call Sylvia Lobo if you need more information or directions to the location.

MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Thursday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.

Prayers/Prayer Line Info: If you have a prayer request that you would like to get on the Prayer Line, you may contact Sylvia Lobo. Members and friends of MSJC will receive the request and lift it up in prayer.

Supporting MSJC: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. You can help support MSJC with your tax-deductible contributions which can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley for review of the finances for MSJC.
