Mission San Jose Community

Bulletin for May 2000

Community Prayer Meetings: We meet every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center for our weekly gatherings of Prayer and Praise. These meetings are open to everyone, so please invite others to attend. Remember that information about MSJC and the California Mission Magazine is also available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG

Growing In Faith Teachings: MSJC has begun the new year with the Growing in Faith Teachings which continue until June 4th. The last topic is scheduled for May and June: May 21st and June 4th - Mary, part 1 and 2.

No Prayer Meetings on May 14th and May 28th: Please remember that we will not have our regular prayer meeting on both May 14th and May 28th. Enjoy your day to celebrate Mother's Day and join in at the NCCCC (see below).

NCCCC: There will be no prayer meeting on May 28th due to the Northern California Catholic Charismatic Conference (NCCCC) at the Santa Clara Convention Center that weekend. Registration flyers are available at the MSJC prayer meetings. MSJC encourages you to attend this conference and join other Charismatic Catholics for a weekend of talks, prayer and praise. Child care is available during the conference times, please pick up a flyer for all the information.

Men's Breakfast and Women's Fellowship Meetings: There will be no Men's or Women's Breakfast meetings this month due to a fire at the Omega Restaurant last month. Keep the owners in your prayers. They hope to reopen sometime in July.

Pizza Nites: The next MSJC Pizza Nite is scheduled for Sunday, May 21st. MSJC provides the pizza after the regular Sunday prayer meeting and requests that you sign-up to bring other needed items such as paper goods and sodas. Sign-up by May 14th or call Judy Bateman.

Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:
