MSJC Ministry Schedule: Below is the Ministry Schedule for the following weeks:
|
Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers (ages 6 mos to 4 years) and School Age Children (5 yrs to 12 yrs). The toddlers will be in the Parish Nursery Room, while the School Age Children will be next door to them in the Conference Room. For info on this ministry, please pick up a Parent info sheet and Conduct Guidelines in the Children Ministry rooms. If you have any questions or comments, please call our Children's Ministry coordinator, Annie Esget, at (408) 258-6757. We use the Catholic Kids Net program for School Age children. MSJC has both parent volunteers and baby sitters for the Toddler Ministry - parents sign up as toddler assistants to help out baby sitters when needed. The School Age Ministry has parent volunteers. All Children Ministry volunteers must be fingerprinted due to a requirement of the Diocese of San Jose and a new requirement is that a diocesan class is also required. Please contact Colleen Murphy at Holy Family (408-265-3181) to set up an appointment to do that.
Mark your calendars: The Northern California Catholic Charismatic Convention is Fri. May 27th To Sun. May 29th at the Santa Clara Convention Center. New this year is an eucharistic adoration praise and worship service on Friday night, praise and worship the True Body of Jesus. MSJC is handling registration again this year, if you want to volunteer, please contact Annie Esget. The National Catholic Family Conference is scheduled for July 23 and 24 at the Anaheim Convention Center near Disneyland. There will be great speakers and a lot of Catholics plus they have children's ministry.
Prayers/Prayer Line Info: Anne Hashimoto is our volunteer for the Prayer Line Ministry. Please send her your prayer request by email. To be part of the Email Prayer Line, please tell her or send her your email address and she will add you to our Prayer Line email list.
MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets monthly to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. The newly elected MSJC council members are Annie Esget and Sylvia Lobo. They join Gary Herbst to make up the council. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.
