Bulletin for MARCH 2002

Community Prayer Meetings: Our weekly prayer and praise meetings are every Sunday from 4 to 5:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center. As always, these prayer meetings are open to anyone who would like to join us in praising GOD and learning more about MSJC. Remember that additional information on MSJC and the California Mission magazine is available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG

Winter and Spring Bible Study: MSJC is currently in the middle of a Bible study program on the Mass and Eucharist. It will run through June and will be conducted through the Men's and Women's Share Groups which meet on weeknights at designated locations. If you are not in a Share Group and would like to join one, please speak to Gary or Dan about the times and locations of the current groups.

MSJC Community Meeting: The next MSJC Community Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th at 6:30pm at the Herbst's home in San Jose.

Easter Sunday: We will not be having a Prayer Meeting on Easter Sunday, March 31st. Please enjoy the day and celebrate that our Lord Jesus has RISEN!

NCCCC: The Northern California Catholic Charismatic Conference (NCCCC) is scheduled for May 24-26 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. MSJC will be doing the on site registration and need volunteers. Contact Dan Franke for more information on conference or to volunteer.

Mark Your Calendar: A Lord's Day Dinner /Talent Show is scheduled from 4 to 8pm on Saturday, June 1st, at the Dominican Sisters Convent in Fremont. More information to follow in the months ahead.

Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Monday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.

Prayers/Prayer Line Info: If you have a prayer request that you would like to get on the Prayer Line, you may contact Sylvia Lobo. Members and friends of MSJC will receive the request and lift it up in prayer.

Supporting MSJC: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. You can help support MSJC with your tax-deductible contributions which can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley for review of the finances for MSJC.
