Community Prayer Meetings: We meet every Sunday from 5 to 6:30pm at the Warm Springs Community Center for our weekly gatherings of Prayer and Praise. These meetings are open to everyone, so please invite others to attend. Remember that information about MSJC and the California Mission Magazine is also available on the Web at HTTP://WWW.MSJC.ORG

Growing In Faith Teachings: MSJC has begun the new year with the Growing in Faith Teachings which continue until June 4th. The following is the schedule for March and April: March 12th and 19th - The Eucharist, part 1 and 2 and April 2nd and 9th - The Bible, part 1 and 2. A complete schedule is available after the prayer meeting.

Evening and Day of Recollection: MSJC will present an Evening of Recollection on March 24th from 7-9pm at the Milpitas Library - Community Room located at 40 N. Milpitas Blvd. The Day of Recollection is scheduled for March 25th from 9am - 3pm at Dominican Convent Auditorium, 43326 Mission Blvd. in Fremont. Bring a bag lunch. Fr. Gerard will be the guest speaker at these events giving a series of talks on Catholic Morality. For more info you may contact John Martinez or Gary Herbst.

Men's Breakfast: This month's Men's Breakfast is at 7:30am on Mar. 18th (Third Saturday), at the Omega Restaurant in Milpitas. Invite other men and join us! For more information, call John at (510) 785-3311 or Gary at (408) 227-7141.

Women's Fellowship Breakfast: There will not be a meeting in March due to the MSJC Day of Recollection (see info above). For any questions or comments, please call Elizabeth Martinez.

Pizza Nites: The next MSJC Pizza Nite is scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 26th. MSJC provides the pizza after the regular Sunday prayer meeting and requests that you sign-up to bring other needed items such as paper goods and sodas. Sign-up by Mar. 19th or call Judy Bateman.

Mandatory Children's Ministry Meeting: On March 26th before the Prayer Meeting, there will be a Children's Ministry Meeting to discuss several topics such as implementing a new program for School Age, Toddler Room issues and other miscellaneous topics. The meeting will be at the Warm Springs Community Center and will start at 3:30pm sharp! This is a mandatory meeting for all parents with children in the ministry. The other volunteers are also encouraged to attend. For any questions, please contact Susan Kingsley.

Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers and School Age Children. For info on this ministry you can call Susan Kingsley. Thank you to those who have volunteered for this important ministry to our MSJC children:

Family Camp: Plan ahead for Family Camp on August 20 - 24th at beautiful Redwood Christian Camp in Boulder Creek, just an hour away from the Bay Area. Check out their website at www.redwoodcp.org Reserve your spot with a $100.00 deposit due in May. Space is limited! Details to follow soon.

MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Wednesday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.

Prayers/Prayer Line Info: If you have a prayer request that you would like to get on the Prayer Line, you may contact Slyvia Lobo.

Year-End Donations: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. Tax-deductible contributions can be given to Chris or Susan Kingsley. A quarterly financial report is available to anyone who requests one from Chris Kingsley.
