Community Prayer Meetings at Holy Family Parish in San Jose: We have a new format for our Sunday afternoon prayer meetings. The first Sunday of the month will be Fellowship Sunday, there won't be a prayer meeting but members are encouraged to use that day to get together for fellowship and community building. The second and fourth Sunday afternoon gatherings will be our prayer meetings, from 3:30 to 5 pm at Holy Family Catholic Parish in San Jose ( 4848 Pearl Avenue) in the Community Center. The third Sunday will be reserved for a talk on Catholic teaching and will be from 3:30 to 5 pm with guest speaker(s) also at Holy Family Community Center . When there is a fifth Sunday in a month, the gathering will be a MSJC community meeting from 3:30 pm. To 5 pm. at Holy Family Community Center. As always, these meetings are open to anyone who would like to join us in praising GOD and learning more about MSJC.

Children's Ministry: MSJC offers our children a time to learn about the Lord under our Children's Ministry for Toddlers

(ages 6 mos to 4 years) and School Age Children (5 yrs to 12 yrs). The toddlers will be in one room, while the School Age Children will be in another room. For info on this ministry, please pick up a Parent info sheet and Conduct Guidelines in the Children Ministry rooms. If you have any questions or comments, please call our Children's Ministry coordinator, Annie Esget. We use the Catholic Kids Net program for School Age children. MSJC has both parent volunteers and baby sitters for the Toddler Ministry - parents sign up as toddler assistants to help out baby sitters when needed. The School Age Ministry has parent volunteers. All Children Ministry volunteers must be fingerprinted due to a requirement of the Diocese of San Jose and a new requirement is that a diocesan class is also required. Please contact Colleen Murphy at Holy Family (408-265-3181) to set up an appointment to do that.

Prayers/Prayer Line Info: Anne Hashimoto is our volunteer for the Prayer Line Ministry. Please send her your prayer request by email. To be part of the Email Prayer Line, please tell her or send her your email address and she will add you to our Prayer Line email list.

MSJC Council Meetings: The MSJC Council meets the first Monday of every month to discuss MSJC activities and other business items. The council members are Gary Herbst, Annie Esget and Sylvia Lobo. Please contact one of the council members for more information on meetings or location.

Supporting MSJC: Mission San Jose Community has tax-exempt status with both the Federal and State governments. You can help support MSJC with your tax-deductible contributions which can be given to a MSJC council member.
