The California Mission
Catholic magazine
The California Mission is a magazine whose
goal is to promote the "new evangelization" that has been announced by Pope John
Paul II. Why subscribe to the California Mission? Quite simply,
because our magazine is unique. No other publication brings together
all the things that we do:
- Inspiring teaching, based on Scripture and the Catechism of
the Catholic Church.
- Recovery of our local Catholic history, exemplified in the
life of
Blessed Junipero Serra,
founder of
the California missions.
- Inspiring meditations on the Scripture readings for the Sunday
mass -- an excellent way to
prayerfully prepare for the Sunday
liturgy.
- Personal witness stories, that share how others like you
have come to new or deeper faith
in Jesus Christ.
