The California Mission was a magazine whose goal was to promote the "new evangelization" that has been announced by Pope John Paul II. No other publication brought together all the things that we did:

  • Inspiring teaching, based on Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

  • Recovery of our local Catholic history, exemplified in the life of Blessed Junipero Serra, founder of the California missions.

  • Inspiring meditations on the Scripture readings for the Sunday mass -- an excellent way to prayerfully prepare for the Sunday liturgy.

  • Personal witness stories, that share how others like you have come to new or deeper faith in Jesus Christ.
